Since 1995, the Monroe Education Foundation (MEF) has enriched learning opportunities for children in the Monroe Township School District by giving them innovative programs that inspire lifelong learning.
MEF grants subsidize initiatives that are excluded from the district's general operating budget due to spending limits. These grants touch the lives of children from kindergarten through 12th grade, building academic performance and workplace skills while capturing students' imaginations.
The MEF receives grant requests from both teachers and administrators. Our Grant Committee evaluates each request to ensure that its implementation will benefit students in accordance with the district's mission and educational standards.
